Fred A. Puccio, DDS
Dr. Fred A. Puccio, the Principal of Midland Family Dental Care, PA, started practicing in 1994. His expertise lies in all areas of dentistry, such as cosmetic, prosthetic, general, CEREC, and implant dentistry. Dr. Puccio graduated from New York University College Of Dentistry. He completed his post-doctoral specialized training at East Orange VA Medical Center, where he received numerous commendations from the Office of the Chief of Staff.
He is a Clinical Instructor at New York University College of Dentistry in the Honors restorative clinic. He also holds a teaching position at Hackensack University Medical Center in the Dental Department, where he received an award of “Teaching Attending of the Year”. Among his many other accomplishments, he has been rewarded “America’s Top Dentists” by the Consumer’s Research Council of America. Dr. Puccio is regarded as highly skilled practitioner, with an incredible chair side manner. He is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, The Bergen County Dental Society, and The Bergen County Implant Study Group.
With 18 years of dental implant experience, Dr. Puccio is hands on with all aspects of implant dentistry including the placement of single and multi-implant surgeries, uncovering and preparing implants for final restorations, as well as fabricating the permanent crowns often using CEREC technology. From a single missing tooth to full mouth reconstruction, implant dentistry not only the optimum form of care for patients looking to restore their original smile, but it is being provided by the finest of dentists, Dr Fred. Puccio.
Above and beyond patient care, Dr. Puccio is a certified CEREC advanced trainer and a graduate from Sirona’s Speakers Academy. He provides other dentists and their staff with the proper knowledge to expand their practices utilizing CEREC technology with group lectures and one on one lectures in conjunction with hands on training. Dentists are able to master advanced dental techniques using Dr. Puccio’s decade of CEREC expertise.
Robert DeFalco, DDS

Dr. DeFalco graduated from NYU School of Dentistry in 1992. He then went to a General Practice residency for one year and completed a four year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. DeFalco received his board certification from the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in March 1999. Currently he is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Seton Hall School of Graduate Medical Education. He holds staff at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center & UMDNJ.
Dr. DeFalco also is a well-known lecturer speaking on many topics ranging from Craniofacial Surgery to Medical Emergencies. He is an active member of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, New Jersey Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and American Association of Cleft Lip & Palate.
Dr. DeFalco’s practice covered a wide range of Oral & Maxillofacial procedures including third molar extractions, implants, orthognastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, birth defects, pathological procedures and trauma.
Christopher Bauer, DMD

Dr. Christopher Bauer completed an undergraduate degree at Montclair State University in 1998. For 3 years he worked as an analytical chemist for a major pharmaceutical company prior to entering University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Dental School. After graduating UMDNJ in 2005, he furthered his education in oral surgery and head and neck trauma, completing a 1 year General Practice Residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, NJ. In 2008, Dr. Bauer furthered his education with a residency in Endodontics at New York University.
Now specializing in Endodontics, root canal therapy, Dr. Bauer has received multiple awards such as NJDS Exemplary Award, Michael Ivan Franczak Award, and multiple scholarships throughout his schooling. His professional organizations include the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics, New Jersey Dental Associations and recently voted 2011 & 2012 NJ monthly Top Dentists specific to Endodontists.
Helen Ann DeSimone, DMD

Dr. Helen Ann DeSimone graduated from Fairleigh Dickenson University undergraduate in 2000 and from NYU College of Dentistry in 2003. She completed her general practice residency at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ in 2004. In 2006, Dr. DeSimone completed a fellowship in Special Care Dentistry at the Rose F. Kennedy/Montefiore Medical Center. Recently, she has completed her speciality training in pediatric dentistry, as well as serving as Chief Resident of Pediatric Dentistry at Staten Island University. Currently, Dr. DeSimone is Director of Pediatric Dentistry at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.
Dr. DeSimone’s practice included all types of pediatric dental treatment ranging from sealents, fillings, to space maintainers & extractions. She is also responsible for the treatment of all of our special needs patients.
