Robert J. DeFalco, DDS


Biography

Dr. DeFalco graduated from NYU School of Dentistry in 1992. He then went to a General Practice residency for one year and completed a four year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. DeFalco received his Board certification from the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in March 1999. Currently, he is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Seton Hall School of Graduate Medical Education. He holds staff privileges at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center & Rutgers School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. DeFalco also is a well-known lecturer, speaking on many topics ranging from Craniofacial Surgery to Medical Emergencies. He is an active member of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the New Jersey Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the American Association of Cleft Lip & Palate.

Dr. DeFalco’s practice covers a wide range of Oral & Maxillofacial procedures including third molar extractions, implants, orthognatic surgery, cosmetic surgery, birth defects, pathological procedures and trauma.
